Breaking News: Last Updated 1/21/03

  • Sharks Extended Schedule Updated: the Sharks' extended schedule for 2003 is now available through the Detailed & Extended Schedule page.  Posted 1/21/03

  • CYSA Parent Guide: click here to visit and read the CYSA parent guide.  A reminder of what sports for children, and soccer in particular, is ultimately about.  Thanks to Ralph Tuttle for this link.  Posted 11/9/10.

  • Sharks Rankings Summary: Note that some ranking systems lag actual results or may not include certain tournaments, that some systems are influenced by the number of tournaments played as well as the results of the tournaments, some consult with coaches, and all vary as to the number of teams allowed in each category, so that a team can be nationally ranked in one survey and not another solely due to the number of teams included.  "OTB" means "on the bubble," or just outside the top 10; "NR" means not ranked.  For more detail click on the rating service links.  Parentheses indicate previous ranking.

Sponsors & Book Buyers:

  • Sponsors!  Want to sponsor one of the most accomplished and hard-working girls soccer teams in the country?  Here's how: a complete sponsor packet is available for review by any prospective sponsor, whether a business or private donor.  The packet details the expenses incurred by a Class 1 traveling team like the Sharks in the course of a year, the team's record for the past few years, and a statement of the team's objectives and goals.

Tiered levels of support are available, with the team providing recognition and visibility to the sponsors through its Web page as well as patches with the sponsor's names on the team uniform.

  • In addition to the formal sponsorship program for local area businesses interested in getting more exposure for their products and services on the Sharks Web page, anyone interested in sponsoring the Sharks on a tax deductible basis should contact the Sharks Webmaster directly for more information and a sponsorship package.  If you know of businesses or individuals who might want to contribute, please let us know--your help will be sincerely appreciated.  Thanks.

  • Readers and book buyers: note that you can buy any book, not just the soccer books in our bookshop, and help the team.  Anytime you link to Amazon.com by clicking on the Amazon.com logo in the upper left, your purchase will automatically channel the purchase to the team's account at Amazon.

You do not pay anything extra for this!

The commission comes to us from Amazon.com in repayment for advertising their logo on our page and serving as a portal to their Web site.  So please remember to order all of your books from Amazon.com by linking through the Amazon.com logo above.  The Sharks will really appreciate your support.  Thanks.
